100 Thieves Unveil New Headquarters The ‘Cash App Compound’

100 Thieves have finally taken the wraps off their brand new facility, titled ‘Cash App Compound’. It will house facilities for all four competitive teams, their offices, media studios, streaming studios, communal areas, a physical storefront for their apparel and everything in between. According to 100 Thieves, the 15,000-square-foot building is the largest such e-sports facility in the US.

Since its inception in 2017, 100 Thieves — which was founded by former Call of Duty pro Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag and co-owned by Drake and Scooter Braun. It’s an e-sports organisation operating professional teams in games like League of Legends and Fortnite. Under the same umbrella are a number of big-name streamers and content creators, including recent YouTube signees Jack ‘Courage’ Dunlop and Valkyrae, as well as a successful apparel business that operates sort of like a gaming-influenced version of Supreme. Previously, all of these groups were housed in different locations.

“Like many sports teams, we started playing out of a team house, where it was like playing downstairs in the living room and we were working out of one of the bedrooms upstairs,” said John Robinson, the chief operating officer of 100 Thieves, in an interview with GamesBeat.

Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, Founder & CEO of 100 Thieves discussed the facility in a release: “The 100 Thieves Cash App Compound is the product of our vision to build a new category of company – a lifestyle brand born from gaming. Los Angeles is the epicenter of esports, entertainment, and fashion, which are the three pillars we founded the company upon, so this is the perfect home for innovating on what an esports organization and lifestyle brand can be. I can’t wait for our fans to experience the Compound.”

An interesting tidbit that many are not connecting is that the address number; 6050 is the exact same as the original Optic Gaming team house (Nadeshot being a former member) – quite the coincidence.
