Forefathers of dubstep, also known as Canadian duo Adventure Club, releases a new single ‘Drive’ in preparation for their upcoming album Love // Chaos. Returning to the music scene for the first time in five years, Leighton James and Christian Srigley are prepared to make up for their time away from the space, with their long-awaited sophomore album. The track is available now on all platforms via Ultra Music.
‘Drive’ is a three-minute track featuring vocals by Tilian Pearson from the band Dance Gavin Dance. Between Tilian’s vocals and the duo’s cutting-edge electronic sounds, this single signifies Adventure Clubs’ signature synth drops and melodic bass. The pair stated in a recent interview “We’re so happy to have embarked and completed this musical journey. Beauz has been breaking incredible genre-defying ground, and Tilian has been one of our favorite artists for as long as we can remember. I think everyone will be able to hear each artist’s distinct contributions to what is probably our favorite track on the upcoming album.”
Given the artist’s success in previous years, this single and upcoming album have great chart potential within the dance music scene. The empire that these two have built over the years, is just the beginning, as they continue to push boundaries all while keeping dubstep alive and flowering.
