Alex Hosking Shares Impressive Debut ‘Monsters’

Australian Singer/Songwriter Alex Hosking makes her solo debut this week with an impressive single called “Monsters”. It is not the first time we’ve featured her powerful vocals and masterful songwriting, however now she’s at centre stage and better than ever.

Hosking’s versatile vocal talents led to her sign a deal with global Publishing titan Sony ATV and she’s quickly become an in-demand talent working with leading Pop, Indie and Electronic artists across the globe. Penning more than 400 songs so far she has had studio time with certified talents such as The Preatures, Nicole Millar and recent collaborations include Dim Mak’s Max Styler, Spinnin’s Lucas & Steve and rising Australian Pop starlet Belle Lucia via BMG.

Showing us for the first time her own flavour, ‘Monsters’ is an r&b infused indie-pop tune that charms the listener with striking vocals, catchy lyricism and fast melody lines. The track’s production introduces smooth hip hop drum beats backed by a tantalising electric RnB guitar and roaring wavy synths.

Speaking on ‘Monsters’ Hosking recounts ” [it] explores the feeling of allowing your mind to run away with all your foreboding thoughts and fears and being your greatest enemy.” This young artist is a force of nature in her writing and now with her debut artist project will no doubt be on the radar of industry and fans far and wide.
