After mesmerising millions of fans worldwide, Anyma’s globally recognised Genesys show will finally be making its Australasian debut. The world renowned, multi-disciplinary artist, will bring his meticulously curated selection of techno and visual art. Showcased on one of the largest LED screens ever built in the Southern Hemisphere.
Anyma, who is half of techno duo Tale Of Us, thrives at the thrilling crossroads of humanity, technology, and nature, is renowned for his singular and unforgettable performances. His work seamlessly blends futuristic visual installations with avant-garde sound engineering, crafting an otherworldly experience that frequently goes viral on social media. Since launching in 2021, Anyma has built an expansive universe that has captivated the imaginations of millions worldwide.
The show will be the only one in Australia, as Victoria (Melbourne) has exclusive rights thanks to the government’s ALWAYS LIVE initiative.
With support from the Victorian government through Visit Victoria, ALWAYS LIVE will continue to champion the state’s vibrant live music scene, further solidifying Victoria’s status as Australia’s live music capital. The initial announcement unveils a lineup of over 289 artists, including 208 from Victoria, performing at more than 65 events statewide, with 35% of the program taking place in regional areas.
Returning for its third year in 2024, ALWAYS LIVE will deliver a 17-day celebration of contemporary live music from November 22 to December 8. This year’s program will cover the entire state, with events from Gippsland to Geelong and Ballarat to Bendigo, offering a wide range of free and low-cost experiences. The program will spotlight grassroots and regional venues, featuring unique performances, underplays, podcasts, discussions, and workshops.
