Baauer Unleashes Sophomore Album ‘PLANET’S MAD’

Today, platinum selling producer Baauer presents his second album; PLANET’S MAD, accompanied with an awesome 40 minute visual.

It has been 4 years since the release of Baauer’s debut project Aa, and the artist has come a long since his mega-hit ‘Harlem Shake’ days.

In 2020 Baauer makes his awaited return with his sophomore album rooted in the crossover dance acts he grew up listening to: Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx and Daft Punk. Cut with modern hip hop and pop his music encompasses the digital culture we live within. This Summer Baauer and LuckyMe present his biggest project to date… the album his fans have been waiting for…

The 12 track album comes at a time where the planet really is mad, perfecting matching the album’s title.

PLANET’S MAD is a rambunctious new dance album set to a sci-fi story which talks about how this mad, mad world reacts to music.

The long form film directed by Baauer himself guest stars Eric Wareheim as the plot’s televised cult leader in a fully fleshed out storyline. Featuring a bizarre combination of neon alien worlds and tripped-out gecko raves, PLANET’S MAD is shaping up to be one of the most enthralling audiovisual experiences of the summer.
