The hilarious trio that are bringing a different edge to the broader electronic scene, badxyou, are back in the saddle once again with a visual and audio single release titled “Discord Nitro.” There’s a hardy amount of technicality going on, but badxyou allows the release to have a great structure and order to it, making the track down-right fun. With the melodic aspects and colorful hooks equipped within, “Discord Nitro,” is chalked full aspects that will win you over in no time flat. The video that they’ve paired with the single is trippy and artistic, clearly taking a good chunk of time to make, but altogether fitting with the hyperpop angle that are embracing.
badxyou is a group that’s literally outstanding and eye-catching, looking back at their Instagram and videos, there’s a hilarious and fun-loving angle to what they do as well, almost to a shocking degree. Yet, that’s what is great about them, they are intentionally different and no afraid to push the limits. There seems to be a strong connection between the members, which is an important aspect to the success of any group and a valuable aspect of this project.
