BAER And JYZEL Release Empowering Summer Anthem “Salina”

With her latest song, BAER calls out the haters. The song, which switches between English and Spanish, is titled “Salina,” which roughly translates to “salty” in English. Backed up by a booming trap beat and latin guitar loop, BAER takes on the “salina” haters, with featured artist JYZEL coming in after the second chorus.

To BAER and JYZEL, “Salina” was meant to empower: “We wrote this song as an ode to our awesomeness, and how being confident in who you are will inevitably come with haters who are super ‘salina’! Its a fun summer empowerment record.”

Although currently based out of Los Angeles, BAER has an international set of influences. She was born in Taiwan, grew up in Canada, and now lives in the United States. Her unique background has likely contributed to her success as a musician, with her single “Breathe The Same,” charting on the USA Viral 50 on Spotify.  Fellow LA resident JVZEL has found similar success, working with top-tier artists like Kendrick Lamar, Jason Derulo and David Guetta. Now, both artists have come together to bring us “Salina.”
