The producers of the Electronic Dance Music Awards (EDMAs), Sean “Hollywood” Hamilton and Jared Overeem, are proud to announce the release of a groundbreaking new documentary: Behind the Beat (Road to the EDMAs).
This feature documentary pulls back the curtain on the world of electronic dance music, following the journeys of superstar DJs, rising producers, and industry insiders as they prepare for one of the most anticipated days in global music—the Electronic Dance Music Awards, held annually to honor the biggest names in the scene.

Woodhaven Media Joins the Team
The documentary will be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Tommy DeNucci and produced by Woodhaven Media alongside Premier USA and the EDMAs.
DeNucci is known for his documentaries Lennox Lewis – The Untold Story, which landed on Peacock, Apple TV, and Amazon Prime with a perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes score, and Man in Red Bandana, available on Amazon Prime and Roku, with an 8.2/10 IMDb rating.
Joining him is Mike Braga, Co-Producer and Executive Videographer at Woodhaven Media, who has recently worked alongside DeNucci on projects featuring major Hollywood talent including Megan Fox, Tyrese Gibson, Theo Rossi, Ron Perlman, among others. Braga brings a cinematic eye and deep editing expertise to the project, further elevating the documentary’s scope and quality.
