Centineo’s Dance Track Shares An Authentic Childlike Wonder In ‘Believe Again’

It’s been a bit since we have heard from the solo going electronic act Centineo. He had a few hitters back in the late 2010’s, tracks like “Otherside,” released on Revealed Recordings and “Charge,” which went to #35 on the overall Beatport charts being only a couple of highpoints that give a better understanding of where he’s been.

Things had been quiet from Centineo for a bit, but a March 2021 released changed all that. He got back on the horse and dropped “Fearless,” which gained major attention on Spotify in particular and re-ignited the momentum once again.

He’s now following up “Fearless,” with a single that could easily be considered his most awe-inspiring work to date.

“Believe Again,” puts all the right motions in order, capturing the imagination while fitting into the parameters of dance music. The single uses a framework of electro house to transmit a message of innocence, hopefulness, and – safely-said – a slice of magic that the world just needs right now. The single is paired with a deeply personal video that naturally syncs up with the core message of the track.

From the sound, to the verses, branding, and more – the emotional elements that fill the soul from the few minute ride is not something easily forgotten.

If this is the wavelength that Centineo is on, the EDM space needs more of it.
