Ben Böhmer’s Bloom Unfolds: His Next Chapter in Music

Ben Böhmer’s latest album Bloom has been released today, marking his first new studio project in three years. The album showcases his artistic growth, featuring 11 tracks that blend electronic music with a variety of styles and collaborations. Notable artists featured include Lykke Li, Oh Wonder, and Enfant Sauvage, each contributing to the album’s diverse sound palette.

The album’s first single released, ‘Best Life’, features the German duo JONAH and focuses on the themes of life’s fleeting moments, the ups and downs, and the importance of cherishing memories. Musically, Bloom represents a shift towards more improvisational production, as Böhmer returns to his creative roots after a record-breaking tour.

Bloom is a splendid collection of calming, electronic music. The beats and vocals present a wonderful vibe, something that Böhmer has presented throughout his whole career. The stunning exploration into his sounds is paired with some exceptional vocal work, which really makes this album stand out. Whilst the album is nothing new from Böhmer per say, that doesn’t mean it’s not of the upmost quality.
