Blookah Releases Foreign Objects – A Laid Back, Future Inspired 6-Track EP

Somewhere in a crossover between Lo-fi and Future Soul, comes US producer Blookah’s new EP “Foreign Objects”, a glorious new 6-track body of work filled with all of your favourite chill vibes.

The first track “Break Bread” sets the tone for what can easily be described as a stand out EP. It begins with warm pads and evolving textures that rise into a hard hitting, syncopated beat; which is subsequently developed through cutting sweeps and a biting future synth lead line. The rest of the EP sees Blookah experiment with more retro synth lines and ‘Boom-Bap era’ Modern Dance production, interspersed with soothing-soundscapes and Hip Hop inspired beats.
