Tony Cook who went by the stage name Cookie Monsta has died according to his longtime label Circus Records and Management Agency, Maximum Boost. The highly respected Dubstep DJ & Producer hailed from Nottingham UK and started his career in 2008 inspired by the likes of Rusko.
“Our beloved Tony Cook (aka Cookie Monsta) has left us, We are devastated, no words can contain our feelings on such a day. All of our thoughts go to Tony’s family, friends and our heart especially goes out to Tony’s son Olly, the Mini Monsta.” Wrote Circus Records and Maximum Boost in a joint official statement shared on their social media.
Other artists and industry memebers have since taken to social media to share their condolonces.
