Brooklyn Mirage Cancels All Weekend Shows After Missing Opening Deadline

Brooklyn Mirage has scrapped its entire reopening weekend, canceling all scheduled shows through Sunday due to ongoing construction delays. The shows that have been cancelled are Sara Landry, on both Thursday and Friday, as well as Cityfox Regenerate on Saturday and finally Black Coffee on the Sunday.

While the East Williamsburg venue initially postponed its Thursday night relaunch just hours before doors were set to open, organizers officially pulled the plug on the rest of the weekend by Friday afternoon. Saturday and Sunday’s events, which were expected to draw thousands of attendees, will no longer go ahead.

Construction crews were still on-site Friday as work continued inside the revamped venue. The Mirage, operated by Avant Gardner, was set to unveil a new look with a high-profile set from DJ Sara Landry, but the building ultimately wasn’t ready in time.

Ticket holders for all affected shows will receive full refunds. A new opening date has not yet been announced.
