With Tomorrowland’s return to Boom, Belgium just days away, the festival has announced a landmark moment for its 19th edition: Charlotte de Witte will become the first artist ever to perform twice on the Mainstage in a single day, taking place Saturday, July 19th, 2025.
The Belgian techno titan kicks off the day with a special Daybreak set, delivering the stripped-down, pulsing tracks that cemented her global headliner status. After a full day of festival programming, she’ll return to close the night on the same Mainstage, bringing the energy full circle in a move that blends narrative and spectacle.
Reflecting on the announcement, de Witte shared, “Back in 2011, after winning a DJ contest, I had the chance to open the Mainstage of Tomorrowland. It basically changed my life. In 2022, I was the first techno and female act to close the Mainstage. Now in 2025, I get to open and close the Mainstage in the same day, creating a full-circle experience I can’t wait to share with everyone.”
These historic sets will anchor the first weekend of Tomorrowland’s “Orbyz” themed 19th edition, running July 18th-20th, 2025. While the festival’s fresh visual identity shapes the stages, it’s de Witte’s rare double performance that’s poised to define the weekend.
