German alt-rockers Milky Chance have recruited techno aficionado Christian Löffler for a hypnotic remix of their hit track ‘Unknown Song’. Boasting over 25 million streams across the web from years past, the legendary track only made its way to Spotify and other streaming services this year – an inviting opportunity for fellow German producer Christian Löffler to give the track a scintillating electronic rinse.
With the original already boasting 6 million streams, the Paulina Eisenberg assisted track is taken to the next level by Löffler and is sure to reach a whole new audience.
The sweet folksy melodies from Milky Chance lead vocalist Clemens Rehbein and guest vocalist Paulina Eisenberg serve as a familiar palette for the producer, who doubles his creative pursuits as a painter and producer, drawing inspiration from the rugged landscapes of northeast Germany and the Baltic Sea that surround his remote cabin.
The tune builds on an exciting year for Milky Chance, who capped off 2021 with over 1 billion streams, and earlier this year released “Synchronize”, a pulsating club track that has hit over 20 million streams.
