Codeko Drops Shiny Single “Bad At Being Alone”

At just 21 years old, UK-born artist Codeko is the perfect example of hard work ethic and dedication. The classically trained producer just completed a masters of science at Cambridge University while keeping a busy release schedule and touring the world; he has already performed at festivals such as Tomorrowland, Electric Zoo, Life in Color, Mysteryland and more.

Now, Codeko is releasing his debut single for 2020, explosive vibe “Bad At Being Alone” via Tiësto’s Musical Freedom imprint. The song is artistically a big step forward for the producer, driven by huge basslines, lush guitars and stunning synths. Codeko lets chords and melodies explode before offering his vulnerable vocal lines, while it all comes full circle again and leads to an even more impactful drop. Inspired by his experience on tour towards the end of 2019, the song speaks to the bittersweet feeling of life on the road. As Codeko explains:

“Bad At Being Alone is a very personal track to me, and probably the most meaningful track I feel I’ve written … With today’s pandemic, many feel another way of Bad At Being Alone in isolation. This track to me right now feels connected with the world. Whatever struggles you are having lately, I hope this record can help show that you aren’t completely alone and we’ll push through it together.” – Codeko
