Coldplay Have Revealed Plans for a Single Stadium Concert in Perth, Australia in 2023.

Tourism WA and Live Nation, on behalf of the Western Australian Government, are excited to announce that Coldplay, one of the world’s most prominent bands, will perform a unique one-off concert in Perth as part of their Music of The Spheres World Tour. Amy Shark and Thelma Plum, both celebrated Australian singer-songwriters, will provide individual sets as supporting acts. This historic event will occur on November 18, 2023, at Perth’s Optus Stadium, and is an exclusive performance in Australia that is anticipated to attract numerous visitors to Western Australia, providing a tremendous boost to the local economy.

The band said today: “”We’re so happy to be returning to Perth for an extra special one-off show at Optus Stadium on November 18th this year. It’s a huge deal for us and we’re massively looking forward to coming back to Western Australia. It’s been way too long.” Coldplay

WA’s Deputy Premier, the Hon. Roger Cook, said, “The Western Australian Government, through Tourism WA, is proud to support Coldplay’s return to our state after fourteen years, with their first ever concert at our award-winning Optus Stadium.

“This drawcard event is all part of the WA Government’s and Tourism WA’s new major events strategy, to bring incredible events to the state that entice visitors to travel to Western Australia and enjoy all WA – the Dream State – has to offer.”

After a triumphant 2022 where Coldplay sold more concert tickets than any other artist and broke attendance records around the world, the iconic band – who won Tour of The Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards – will bring their spectacular stadium show, bursting with lasers, fireworks and LED wristbands to Perth, where they will perform classic hits such as “Yellow”, “Viva La Vida”, “Clocks”, “A Sky Full Of Stars” and “My Universe”.
