Tiësto has truly returned to the big time in recent weeks. Making a long-awaited return to trance, the man known by most as the Godfather of the genre, has experimented with various genres, including pop, bass-house, and even more urban flavours in the 16 years since his ‘Kaleidoscope’ album first started to dip into the waters of more commercial sounds. However, it now seems the Dutch producer and DJ is opening a new chapter in his career, coming full circle with his love of trance. Playing special ‘extended’ trance sets, full of classics such as ‘Traffic’, and ‘Elements of Life’, the legendary performer – fresh from a set at Egypt‘s Pyramids of Giza – is returning to Creamfields.
The UK festival will welcome Tiësto for a special ‘Steel Yard’ takeover at the 2026 festival, which takes place over August Bank Holiday weekend. It won’t mark the first time he’s played the mega-structure, having headlined his own event at the London version in 2018 with an all-star support cast which included Steve Angello, and Tchami X Malaa. With the 2026 festival marking 20 years since Creamfields moved to their famous location in Daresbury, Cream will be going all out to make this one of their most special events to date.
Alongside Tiësto, the line-up announced so far already includes Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris, Sonny Fodera, Disclosure (Live), and Armand van Helden. With many more artists still to be announced, you can grab your tickets to Creamfields 2026 right here!
