Long time friends, and fellow Parisians Martin Solveig and David Guetta have today unveiled their first-ever collaboration in the form of a club driven release “Thing For You”. First teasing back in June on Instagram that they were in the studio, we are happy we didn’t have to wait all that long.
With Solveig having recently joined forces with Jax Jones for their ‘Europa‘ project and Guetta recently focusing on his alter ego Jack Back it’s rather fitting that this release is a heavy club focused record under their own names. The songs infectious vocal was co-written by an all star team of Alex Hope, Noonie Boa and Sasha Sloan.
The driving bassline couples with a delightful catchy yet mysterious vocal, in all “Thing For You” has an instant appeal. Paired with an even tougher club mix, we can no doubt see this spreading through the dance floors and in the sets of the industries underground dance-floor purveyors.
