deadmau5 Drops Kiesza Collab ‘Bridged By A Lightwave’ Early

Ahead of what was meant to be released on Friday, deadmau5 and Kiesza’s collaboration ‘Bridged By A Lightwave’ has dropped early. In a truly unconventional deadmau5 way, he tweeted at Kiesza suggesting they flip it live now and they’ve done exactly that.

‘Bridged By A Lightwave’ is deadmau5 at his best.; an incredible technical production with incredible vocals. The melodies and immaculate sound design is signature deadmau5. The choice of the 9+ minute original or alternative version is ideal as both display different qualities. Both versions remind us of the old school deamau5 with tracks such as ‘I Remember’.

‘Bridged By A Lightwave’ is the second original from the mau5 this year after ‘Pomegranate’ which was a lot more commercial. He also went back to his BSOD collaborative project for a four track EP.

The resulting masterpiece is exactly that, go ahead and listen to all 9 minutes of the original below. Hopefully it is not the last we hear from these Canadian team up.
