Gunna Joins Diplo & Mau P for the Pulsating Tech House Hit ‘Receipts’

Diplo and Mau P have just dropped a track that’s brings the best of rap and electronic under one roof, and the outcome is nothing short of epic. The song, “Receipts,” melds these style together in a way that’s impossible to label as a miss. Featuring Gunna, a heavyweight in the rap world, the track delivers sharp production and a bassline that thunders from start to finish. Gunna’s flow slices through the production like a razor, making “Receipts” a track that’s both potent and memorable.

Diplo’s path is marked by his extensive connections in the music scene, leading to a series of collaborations across genres—rap, pop, country, you name it. Over time, he’s teamed up with some of the biggest names, from Trippie Redd to Lil Pump. On the other hand, Mau P, recognized for his shift from festival bangers to house music, hasn’t engaged in many collaborations until now. “Receipts” stands as his most substantial collaborative effort to date.

Gunna’s involvement might’ve caught some off guard, but it’s not his first venture into electronic territory. Back in 2019, he teamed up with NGHTMRE for “Cash Cow,” showcasing his ability to crossover. “Receipts” premiered at Coachella, during Diplo and Mau P’s back-to-back set, leaving fans buzzing with its tech house vigor. It’s a clear indication that Mau P is stepping up, and the track’s broad release could very well pave the way for more genre-fusing hits in the future.
