Diplo Teases ‘Use Me’ Off Of Anticipated ‘Thomas Wesley: Chapter 2 – Swamp Savant’ Follow Up Album

Diplo, the renowned American DJ, record producer, and songwriter, is set to release his second country album, Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley: Chapter 2 – Swamp Savant, under his Thomas Wesley guise at the end of this month. The album’s first single, “Wasted,” featuring Kodak Black and Koe Wetzel, was released in January to critical acclaim, and Diplo has now shared a preview of another song from the upcoming album.

Moreover, Diplo has collaborated with Dove Cameron, the American actress and singer, and Sturgill Simpson, the Grammy-winning American country music singer-songwriter, for a new song and cinematic video called “Use Me (Brutal Hearts).” Interestingly, the song is a cover of Bedouin Soundclash and Coeur De Pirate’s “Brutal Hearts” from the 2010 Bedouin Soundclash album Light The Horizon.

The music video also stars Simpson as his alter ego “Johnny Blue Skies” and features Sean Penn in a prominent role. Cameron hinted at the collaboration earlier on Instagram by posting stills and album art of the new single, which generated a lot of buzz among her followers. Diplo, too, teased the video on social media, stating that his fans would not want to miss it.

Diplo is a highly respected figure in the music industry, and his latest releases, including the upcoming album and the collaboration with Cameron and Simpson, are eagerly anticipated by fans around the world.
