Drake Fans Rejoice: 2025 Australian Tour Is Official

After years of anticipation, Drake has officially confirmed his return to Australia in 2025. This announcement follows weeks of teasing and speculation, fueled by mysterious social media hints. The Canadian rapper last performed in Australia in 2017 during his Boy Meets World Tour tour, and fans have eagerly awaited his comeback ever since.

Announced on his live stream with xQc, Drake began the Kick live stream with the news. Whilst Drake did not have all the info on hand, he noted that he will begin the tour Febuary 9th and continue into March. He mentions dates in Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast as well as others, but did not recall it at the time.

Drake’s upcoming Australian tour, is named “Anita Max Wynn,” taking inspiration from his recently introduced alter ego. The name is a playful wordplay on the gambling phrase “I need a max win,” highlighting Drake’s love for games and partnerships with companies like Stake. This alter ego debuted during a livestream in December 2023, featuring a unique persona characterized by a humorous tone and distinct style, including a branded trucker hat.

The 2025 tour is expected to feature tracks from his recent albums, including For All the Dogs, as well as iconic hits from his extensive catalog. While specific dates and venues are yet to be announced, fans can expect performances in major cities like Sydney and Melbourne, with additional shows likely across the country.

Tickets are anticipated to sell quickly, given the overwhelming demand. Details on pre-sale and general sale dates will be released soon, making this one of the most sought-after tours of the year.
