DRCY Drops Latest R&B/Pop Blend ‘Small Talk’

R&B and pop fusion artist DRCY [Darcie], has just released her second single ‘Small Talk’. The talented artist, who splits her time between London and Liverpool touches on topics ranging from love, lust, heartbreak and everything in between.

Following the release of her debut single ‘Butterflies’ in January, DRCY is unveiling her latest single ‘Small Talk’. The single delves into the early stages of a relationship, where your time is spent just getting to know someone and discovering what’s so great about this certain individual, ‘Small Talk’ sparkles with the excitement of new love.

Influenced by the likes of Mahalia, Daniel Caesar and Olivia Dean, the track shimmers with buttery vocals which melt atop a groovy upbeat bassline and Jazzy instrumentation, resulting in the ultimate move-inducing, vibey anthem. It’s hard to not at least tap your foot to this groovy single.

DRCY’s vocal shines on the single, but bringing it all together is the instrumental, which was produced by Vince Garcia (Driza Bone/EMI). Hopefully this is not the last time this duo work together!

Hoping to encourage others to live unapologetically themselves, DRCY confides, “For so long I have cared about what other people think of me. Insecurities held me back for so long, I just need to own it now. I want my music to inspire people to feel good in their own skin, to feel sexy in their own skin. And I hope that everyone who listens to my music knows that life is not as serious as you’ve been told.”
