DVSN, B Martin and Masked Wolf drop heat on Warner Records

Warner Records has been a label of iconic culture – shaping music and entertainment for the last 5 decades. They are the umbrella company for some of the biggest labels in the world, including Atlantic Records and Spinnin’ Records. Their label dropped some absolute heat this
month, and we couldn’t let August close out with telling you about a few bangers that you need to hear.

First up we have B Martin, Norda and Senes with “Need Some Space.” This deep house gem features incredible vocals from Jay Mason and B Martin. The lyrics talk about somebody who needs space from a needy friend or partner. We discovered this on New Music Friday Sweden but we also saw that it was featured on Dance Brandneu, which is a Spotify Editorial Playlist that’s breaking artists left and right.

As we did more research, we noticed that B Martin co-wrote two other singles that were released that same day. “Sleeping With The Enemy” which he co-wrote with Grammy winner Lil Eddie has all the vibes. This track is produced by Canadian artists Setou & Senyo, and features
epic vocals by SheLoveMal. B Martin also co-produced/wrote “Keep You Saif” (also released that same day) – alongside platinum producer Krunk who’s responsible for “Temperature” by Sean Paul. Sung by artist SaifLove, this track has all the R&B feels we look for here.

Keeping with the R&B sentiment, next up we have DVSN with “If I Get Caught.” This track features the iconic sample from Jay-Z, “I was just fucking them girls I was gon get right back.” This smooth, sexy banger was produced by Jermaine Dupri, Nineteen85 and Bryan-Michael
Cox. We also found this crazy track on the official new music Friday Spotify editorial. It’s one that we definitely recommend adding to that late night you know what playlist. Finally – we have Masked Wolf and Jauz with “Mercy.” This track features some hard-core rap vocals, building up to an epic drop that only Jauz is known for. This is a Spinnin Records release and we can see why the label signed this incredible track. Jauz is known for going viral at Coachella for his Baby Shark Remix, and now has some serious original smashes under his belt.

Most outlets are covering Drake and Eminem – we wanted to put you on to something that you
can’t find everywhere else. These artists are reflecting a deep sense of authenticity and raw
cutting music. It feels nostalgic and yet fresh at the same time. Check out the three links below
and tell us which one is your favorite vibe.
