Dyson just revealed their latest product, their first wearable the Dyson Zone. Pictured below, the noise cancelling headphones are certainly making a statement, largely thanks to the mouthpiece.
The headphones deliver rich, immersive audio that faithfully replicates audio as the artist or creator intended thanks to advanced ANC and a high performing neodymium electroacoustic system.
As the world’s urban population continues to grow, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that 9 in 10 people globally breathe air that exceeds WHO guideline pollutant limits. Dyson aim to tackle this issue with their headphones, arming the user with both great audio and clean air.
“Air pollution is a global problem – it affects us everywhere we go. In our homes, at school, at work and as we travel, whether on foot, on a bike or by public or private transport. The Dyson Zone™ purifies the air you breathe on the move. And unlike face masks, it delivers a plume of fresh air without touching your face, using high-performance filters and two miniaturized air pumps. After six years in development, we’re excited to deliver pure air and pure audio, anywhere.” explained Jake Dyson, Chief Engineer.
Their new product is definitely questionable, whilst everyone wants clean air, are they willing to buy and use the Zone? Time will tell.
