Signed to well-known label imprint Monstercat, Sparkee has released a remix of Ellis’s “Orb.” Yet, there’s more to the story than that. Just as Sparkee had won the remix contest for Tiesto’s “The Business” – a massive honor – he also won out on this remix too, which led to the signing of the song and inclusion of it on the remix pack.
In terms of what the sound is all about: One could say the, “Orbit (Ellis Remix),” release goes a bit harder than what we are used to from Sparkee. Naturally, it has a funk-filled bassline and nu-disco influence, but Sparkee cuts loose with some heavy-handed electric guitar that allows the energy to peak at unexpected levels.
Sparkee is continuing to do his Thursday 8PMADT live streams where he works on 1 remix live, something he plans to do for 52 weeks straight. He’s clearly full of adventure and spunk, which has gained him 6 million views on Spotify and 3 million on YouTube, among other exciting stories to tell.
