EMBRZ’s ‘Sleeptalking’ Single An Uplifting Highlight From ‘Moments’ LP

Moments is EMBRZ’s 2021 album which is now officially out in full. The core of the LP was kicked off during the hardship of the COVID lockdowns, particularly restrictive in the country of Ireland, (where EMBRZ is from and based.) In Moments, a certain therapeutic arc can be sense throughout it’s entirety, many of these tracks featuring soft pads and gentle melodies that hit with an exquisite grace. Totaling 11 works, the album has a bit of something for everybody, especially for those who are into the less intense side which electronic music has to offer.

There’s something to say for every song on the album, yet of them all one was a stand-out which very much shined through. “Sleeptalking,” featuring the vocal work of Emily Nance, really slows down the vibes going on and lets the intoxicating chillness of what EMBRZ’s can offer shine.

Rustic sounds, a wooden pallet of percussion, and a slow flow are at the heart of the experience here. Gentle, melancholy guitar work helps set the mood, which is bittersweet. The experience fills you with mixed emotions, while leaving a distinctive impression of what it’s all about.

Whether it’s “Sleeptalking,” or another track off of the generous Moments album, EMBRZ’s had poured his heart out into his music, Moments speaks volumes.
