Ibiza’s most technologically advanced venue, [UNVRS], is set to host an extraordinary 14-week residency featuring Holosphere 2.0, the latest evolution of Eric Prydz’s groundbreaking live show. Known for pushing the limits of electronic music performances, Prydz will debut a dramatically upgraded version of his iconic sphere concept, delivering an audiovisual spectacle unlike anything seen before.
The original Holosphere made its debut in 2019, showcasing a massive, multi-story sphere that placed Prydz at the centre of a mind-bending display of lights and visuals. However, the ambitious project was cut short when a stage collapse prevented further performances. Now, after five years of development, Holosphere 2.0 is set to return bigger and more advanced than ever.
This new version features revolutionary transparent LED technology, immersive 3D holographic effects, and entirely original animations designed specifically for the show. Every inch of the massive sphere—inside and out—will be covered in cutting-edge visuals, creating a truly multidimensional experience. With Holosphere 2.0, Prydz continues to redefine the possibilities of live electronic music, cementing his reputation as one of the most innovative artists in the industry.
Yann Pissenem, Owner, Founder & CEO of The Night League and Ushuaïa Entertainment, goes on to say: “Eric Prydz possesses an extraordinary vision and talent for crafting otherworldly experiences—pushing the boundaries of innovation with every show. With Holosphere 2.0, he has reached an entirely new level, seamlessly blending cutting-edge technology with an ambitious scale like never before. I can’t wait to present this new chapter of Eric Prydz at [UNVRS], where audiences will witness something truly unprecedented—transforming this residency into a one-of-a-kind future-forward show that will redefine the global audiovisual experience in 2025.”
Eric Prydz’s Holosphere 2.0 residency at [UNVRS] kicks off on 2nd June and runs for 14 weeks until the closing event on 1st September. Tickets and updates are available at unvrs.com.
