Eric Prydz Gifts Fans With Double Cirez D Release ‘Valborg’ & ‘The Raid’

After releasing the free download appropriately named ‘The Gift’, Eric Prydz has returned to his Cirez D alias for a two track EP. This would be Cirez D’s first release since 2018’s DARE U EP. Unfortunately for many, Prydz has opted for a Beatport exclusive for one week, meaning that it will hit Spotify and other DSPs on the 29th of May. With no body DJing or performing music, we cannot see how limiting the release to a download only store benefits anyone.

‘Valborg’ premiered at Tomorrowland last year. It was formerly known as Cirez D’s “Tomorrowland 2019 ID”. ‘The Raid’, formerly known as the “Lollapalooza 2019 ID”, has appeared in most of Cirez D’s sets throughout the past year.

While ‘Valborg’ might be the more sought after track, and maybe a bit more of a cinematic showstopper, this release come with no filler on this release, with both tunes maintain the intrinsically dark mystique of a Cirez D’s beloved productions.

After enjoying fresh episodes of EPIC Radio every other week during the lockdown period, this is exactly what fans wanted to hear as they now have more to look forward to later this month.

bad tuner Releases the Ultra Inventive Weather Report and its Music Video

One such artist with a renowned sense of invention is bad tuner, which becomes clearer than the skies above Tuscany with a singular listen of his new record, "Weather Report". It's his followup to the creative spectacle Operational Interfencer, an album that is a collaboration with Ian Urbina, a New York Times investigative journalist, which sees bad tuner utilize excerpts from his interviews and sounds derived from The Outlaw Ocean project. The album is so profoundly cool that I wish. I could rewind time to experience for the first time again. It's no wonder TOKiMONSTA brought him on-board for the Young Art Sound II compilation and is now releasing "Weather Report" on her label, Young Art Records.
