Debuting her first release of 2022, Eva Shaw is back in the game with a collaboration alongside Thouxanbanfauni and DB Bantino. The tune is titled “Midnight Strangers,” and develops upon the vibes we’ve heard her lay out in 2021 such as, “24 Hrs,” and “RAQX.” The mood at play here are hypnotizing and gratifying all in the same go, the vocal work of both Eva Shaw and DB Bantino working off each other seamlessly. The bass is crisp as the melodies and rhythms lead the way on this one. A bit of soulfulness and spirituality thrown in there for good measure, Eva Shaw clearly knows what she’s doing and isn’t afraid to show it off.
“Midnight Strangers is sexy, but also kinda dirty. I like R&B vibes with an edge and I feel like we got there with this record. Fauni and I have been working together for a minute now (‘Home Invasion’, ‘STRIP’, ‘Diamonds’ & ‘RAQX’) and he’s def one of my favorite rappers. As soon as I got the demo going with DB, I immediately thought of Fauni to put his swag on it.“
