Federal Prosecutors Charge Cameron Pettit, 28 With Mac Millers Death

According to a federal criminal complaint unsealed today Wednesday it has been revealed that US Federal prosecutors have charged a Hollywood man in association with the death of hip-hop artist Mac Miller, almost one year to the day.

The complaint which was filed in the Central District of California names Cameron James Pettit, 28 as the one who supplied Miller with fake oxycodone pills that actually contained fentanyl. According to the 42-page report, investigators found that Miller had been seeking “percs,” an abbreviation for Percocet, a prescribed painkiller which contains oxycodone.

Miller was discovered in his Studio City home on Sept. 7, 2018. The death was certified as an accident but later changed to not that the rapper died from an overdose of alcohol, cocaine and fentanyl.
