Festival X Draws 100,000 Attendees To Debut Edition

Festival X touched down in Australia and New Zealand this past weekend. Kicking off in Auckland, it then toured Australia going from Brisbane, to Sydney and concluding in Melbourne.

With a stacked lineup full of acts such as Calvin Harris, Armin van Buuren, Alison Wonderland, Camelphat and many more – the event drew 100,000 attendees across the four days.

Festival X had their mainstage, as well as 3 other prominent stages. With each stage crowd being quite full, the atmosphere was electric and made for a great festival experience. The diversification of acts allowed for people to find their own stage and potentially stay there the entire day.

Festival X is a new player in the Australian festival market, brought to you by people that were involved in Stereosonic. With many similarities to Ultra Australia, these two will surely battle it out for years to come.

“We’re thrilled to see 100,000 live music fans come together for the first annual edition of Festival X. Audiences in all states treated each other with respect and unity, looking after each other and sharing the love of live music, so we can’t thank attendees enough for joining us on this amazing journey! We’re excited to kick of Summer next year once more with a Festival X tour that will be bigger and better than ever!” – Frank Cotela / Onelove

“We’re incredibly proud of the shows, performances and the behaviour of the crowd at each of the festivals. The response has been phenomenal across all levels and we will be expanding Festival X to two weekends and reaching further cities in Australia next year!” said Richie McNeill / Hardware.
