Gearing up for its 12th edition, London’s Field Day is set to become the latest running Festival hosted in the city. Having resided in Victoria Park for 10 years, before moving to Brockwell Park last year, Field Day will embark on a new chapter in 2019 in Meridian Water next weekend.
The 2019 line-up will include standout sets across the from Diplo, hometown hero Skepta, London soulsters Jungle, hip-hop heavyweight Pusha T, cult rap hero Earl Sweatshirt, master producer Leon Vynehall, the genre-bending Deerhunter, multi-talented dreampop composer Julia Holter, and many more. Meanwhile Bonobo will be curating his Outlier project within the colossal new warehouse stage, while German electronic stalwarts Modeselektor will be harking back to their roots in Berlin’s illegal underground scene with a set that promises to be one of the most eclectic of the weekend.
Undisputed leftfield house music titan The Black Madonna will be taking to the decks within the enormous new warehouse stages, as will BBC Essential Mix 2018 winner HAAi and international electronic sensations George Fitzgerald (live) and Seth Troxler. There will also be performances from the likes of Denis Sulta, Erol Alkan and more across the weekend. In a Field Day first, the iconic Printworks will be collaborating on a specially-curated stage showcasing the most exciting acts in the underground electronic scene today.
