Finis Mundi Shows Us His Dark Side With Latest Single “Right Now?”

With his first release of 2019, Swedish producer Finis Mundi explores a darker, more experimental type of electronic music than his previous work.  The genre-bending track opens with a formant-shifted vocal chop and deep plucks characteristic of the house genre.  Adding an unorthodox drum beat and ambient noises, the track evolves into a cinematic masterpiece.  According to Mundi, “Right Now?” was the “best way to show the world what my sound it going towards; a more experimental and dark pop type of sound.”

Finis Mundi, based in Stockholm, released his debut album in 2018, which has seen worldwide success.  The album, titled “EVERYTHING AFTER” has been streamed nearly seven-hundred-thousand times, as well as been featured on Dancing Astronaut and Earmilk, and his past singles have climbed Spotify’s Viral Charts.  With his latest track, Mundi signals that he’s still got a lot more to come
