Spiderhound Lets You Feel Feelings In Experimental Melodic Single ‘Forgive’

“Forgive,” takes the rougher, more raw direction that “Phlame,” and “Stranger,” introduced, but this time flips it around to be an emotionally melodic tune that touches the heart. Mentored and trained by names like ill.Gates and Mr. Bill, Spiderhound has been serving up a sound that’s been missing from experimental and chill bass circles. Constantly cooking up sounds with so many original factors incorporated in one go, it’d be easy to pick out these track’s in a lineup and identify them as belonging to Sean Naughton aka Spiderhound.

Diving more into “Forgive,” chill keys and a trippy soulful voice set the mood. The atmosphere only gets more charming as each moment passes, graceful melodies and comforting samples begin to seep in. Echo effects enhance the sweet and subtle elements that make this track great. There’s a constant element of surprise that’s attached to the experience, it being particularly hard to know what comes next. In the end, it’s easy to be swept up by the dynamism at play. The percussion embraces so many directives throughout without losing it’s flow, the voice design more consuming as the track progresses to the midway point – the other electronic aspects surrounding these previously mentioned parts support it’s intention bare none.

Spiderhound has again done things right, adding “Forgive,” to his recent rollout of tracks with a broadly familiar scope of sounds between them.
