Internationally famed electronic pair Galantis and LA-house duo Ship Wrek have brought aboard R&B singer-songwriter Pink Sweat$ to produce the new golden hour single, “Only A Fool.”
A sure essential to any summertime soundtrack, “Only A Fool” is the perfect cocktail of pop, house, and R&B, layering ebullient synths and piano loops over a lively, house-driven beat that compliments Pink Sweat$ warm, soulful vocals.
Galantis has been in the studio making music non-stop during quarantine. “Only A Fool” is their third release of the month in series of recent creative singles such as “I Fly (feat. Faouzia,)” featured on the soundtrack of the new Scooby Doo animation, Scoob!, and “The Lake (with Wrabel)“. The Swedish duo said that their work with label mates Pink Sweat$ and Ship Wrek is “a fun collab that brings some good vibes to a weird time.”
The co-captains known as Ship Wrek have been gaining velocity, recently partnering with Valentino Khan to create the electrifying single, “Obsession,” and “It’s My House” (with Dillon Francis) from their recent Mirror Mirror EP.
