Justin Mylo joins us for our Game Time feature, delving into video games and everything that surrounds it to celebrate his newest single, a collaboration with Mesto; ‘When We’re Gone’ out through STMPD. ‘When We’re Gone’ marks the second collaboration between the pair and their first original collaboration. With their studios in the same building, the duo had the production done in no time! After being played in label head Martin Garrix’s Dutch Waters set back in May, the release finally comes to fruition and sounds better than ever.

What are you playing at the moment?
Warzone!
What’s your favourite game soundtrack?
Definitely the soundtrack for Halo!
Which is your all time favourite console, either current or from the past?
Because that console was the first console I owned and got me into gaming; the original Xbox.
Do you watch any pro-gamers or follow any Esports teams?
I actually never watch pro gamers…
If you could have a song in any game which game would you choose?Â
I think I would probably go for Warzone, that would be epic.
What music do you listen to while gaming?
 I actually never listen to music while gaming haha. I need full focus for the game.
What upcoming game release are you most excited for?Â
Cyberpunk 2077. Gonna place my preorder right away after I finish this haha.
What was the first video game you remember playing? Which device/console?
I think it was probably Sonic on my parents’ old Sega.
What are your top 3 games ever and why?
1. Halo: I was super addicted to Halo back in the days and it was the first game I had on my Xbox.
2. Mass Effect: I’m a big sci-fi fan and this game has such a big immersive story which I love.
3. Flight Simulator: played that so much when I was young and it was my dream to actually become a pilot. Had this joystick set I played with.

Console!
What do you think the biggest future gaming advancement will be?
Ray tracing! Even more realistic graphics. I’m not a big fan of the VR stuff.
Which game soundtrack would you want to have your music in?
I would actually love to work on like a score with actual orchestra for any game! The new Halo would be wild.
What game do you think you’re best at overall?
Haha I think I’m pretty mediocre with gaming in general since I can’t spend enough time with one game to become really good.
If you had to live in the world of the last game you played, what world would it be?
Still have to play it, but Cyberpunk. I love the futuristic sci-fi stuff.
Do you watch any gaming streamers/youtubers?
Not really. Actually sometimes just to find tips and tricks for Warzone load outs haha.
