Australian artist Golden Features has announced his return home for the Sisyphus national tour in August 2023. He will be bringing his highly anticipated tour to Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, his hometown Sydney and Perth with special guests SILK (all shows except Perth) and GURPAAL.
Golden Features, the stage name of Tom Stell, aptly reflects his iconic gold mask and the tremendous success he has achieved since bursting onto the music scene in 2014.
Late year, the Australian-born talent released a string of singles that seem to indicate an album was imminent, since then – there has been silence on the music front. The music that was delivered was exceptional and has fan extremely excited for a body of work and the accompanying tour.
After the release of his debut album SECT in 2018 and his collaborative project BRONSON in 2020, Stell felt creatively drained and sought a break. Instead of the typical rest and relaxation, he immersed himself in Berlin, a renowned hub of clubbing culture. There, he indulged in the city’s techno bunkers and hedonistic clubs, dancing with strangers and discovering new tracks. His four nights a week of revelry came to an end with the onset of COVID-19, but Stell returned to Australia rejuvenated and, most importantly, inspired.
With two platinum and six gold ARIA certifications, over 275 million global streams, and a highly acclaimed debut album that topped various charts, Golden Features has solidified his position as a revered figure in Australian electronic music. His accomplishments include sold-out shows at the Sydney Opera House, headline performances at major festivals both domestically and internationally, and the successful formation of the BRONSON project, which produced a self-titled album in collaboration with ODESZA. Now, Golden Features returns as an artist at the peak of his career.
