Gryffin & Noah Kahn Drop Spotify Singles With “Need Your Love” And Cover Of Bon Iver’s ‘Heavenly Father’

Spotify Singles have created some stunning music releases since the inception. They’ve delivered us unique live cuts and new renditions of classics from the likes of Alaina Castillo, Alicia Keys, FLETCHER, Denzel Curry, Alessia Cara, Chelsea Cutler, Maribou State, Mac Miller, and Jhene Aiko. Now they present us with a release from Gryffin, ft Noah Kahan, including a reimagined version of the song “Need Your Love” (taken from his debut album), as well as their cover of Bon Iver’s “Heavenly Father.”

“Need Your Love” arrived via his Interscope released album Gravity last October — it quickly shot to #1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart, featuring artists such as Carly Rae Jepsen, MARINA, Maia Wright and Aloe Blacc, SLANDER and CalleLehmann. The Spotify Single recording was done at the acclaimed Electric Lady Studio’s in New York and adds a whole new twist that fans will no doubt love.

Speaking on the choice of Bon Iver, Gryffin said “Noah Kahan and I are both huge fans of Bon Iver. We felt it’d be cool to do our own interpretation of one of our favourites songs of his, and it just came about supernaturally in the studio. Noah has a super dynamic falsetto vocal, and we just felt like it would be a cover where we could showcase Noah’s incredible voice and range”.
