American recording artist Gryffin, real name Dan Griffith has continued to demonstrate his unique ability and stunning quality over the years. His uplifting emotional dance sounds found across singles such as ‘Feel Good’ and ‘Tie Me Down’ captured audiences around the world. Along the way, he has found a dedicated community of fans that have helped him accumulate hundreds of millions of streams and now they get to see the extent and culmination of his talent with his debut album ‘Gravity’.
Since debuting with “Heading Home” a short three years ago, his emotionally charged sounds have seen him grace radio waves, the biggest festival stages and clubs around the globe. Leaning on his emotional electronic vocal successes, ‘Gravity’ doubles down for the win. The star power and talent shines bright in the LP and will surely assist in its success. The album includes previously released singles such as ‘Tie Me Down’ as well as his collaborations with SLANDER, Ivy Adara, in addition to his 2019 singles “OMG” with Carly Rae Jepsen, “Hurt People” with Aloe Blacc, “All You Need To Know” with Calle Lehman, “Baggage” with AlunaGeorge and Gorgon City and the final single “Body Back” featuring Maia Wright.
‘Gravity’ is a cohesive and interconnected listening experience that embodies Gryffins unique electronic flavour. While there was arguably some room for further sonic experimentation, there has been a unique approach with his collaborators to push the boundaries of their individual sounds. Each of the songs on Gravity is of the highest quality and it will no doubt be on repeat for many listeners.
