It’s no doubt that David Guetta has showcased many great singles and chart topping tracks, he certainly has cemented his place in dance music as an A lister artist. However, announcing his alias as ‘Jack Back’ and releasing a 12 track LP, shows that he is heading back to his old roots.
When giving an interview with Pete Tong, Guetta expressed that the album
“represents a full cycle to me and that’s why I wanted to go back to the beginning of the cycle. I originally started in underground house music, playing all the raves and underground clubs in Paris. I wanted to make music just for fun, with absolutely no commercial approach to it. I want to make every type of music that I like, I’m doing it for the love of music.”
This new ‘mixtape’ consist of 12 tracks including a collaboration with CeCe Rogers and a remix of his own David Guetta track ‘Just A Little More Love’ a collaboration with singer Chris Willis.
