Innovative Partnership Between Slip.stream & Insomniac Music Group Will Make A Catalog Of Music Accessible To Over 200k Creators

Insomniac Music Group has partnered with Slip.stream, an innovative music platform that offers a first-of-its-kind online subscription license, to make its vast music catalog available to creators, gamers, brands, and businesses without any copyright claims on all major platforms. With over 120 artists and a wide range of genre-shaping labels under its belt, including Insomniac Records, HARD Recs, Bassrush, Factory 93, and more, Insomniac Music Group has become a leading force in the electronic music industry, offering a comprehensive suite of services such as music distribution, publishing, label management, and festival/club integration.

By collaborating with Slip.stream, Insomniac Music Group can now reach a wider audience while ensuring its music is properly licensed and monetized on platforms such as YouTube. Slip.stream boasts the largest free creator safe music library, consisting of over 65,000 tracks and 60,000 sound effects, and has a user base of more than 200,000 creators. Slip.stream’s innovative approach sets it apart from other platforms with more restrictive music policies, making it an ideal partner for rights holders like Insomniac. With this partnership, Slip.stream users can access music from some of the industry’s most respected record labels and artists, including Insomniac’s own genre-defining imprints like NGHTMRE and SLANDER’s Gud Vibrations, Wax Motif’s Divided Souls, and Jericho’s NIGHTMODE.

Regarding the partnership, Slip.stream’s Co-CEO, Dan Demole shares “Making Insomniac’s music available for our creators to safely use in their content is a massive step forward in our mission to bridge the world of user generated content with labels, publishers, and artists. I’m excited to see what our creators do with Insomniac’s incredible catalog of songs. Our integration with FUGA opens up endless opportunities for us to deliver top quality music to creators while creating new monetization and marketing opportunities for artists.”

Joe Wiseman, Director at Insomniac Music Group adds “This partnership is paving the way for a future that aligns with our core vision. The complexities of traditional music licensing can be challenging, but our collaboration with Slip.stream and FUGA has brought about a game-changing solution. By leveraging technology, we’re creating opportunities for creators to thrive and new ways to support our talented artists.”

Through FUGA’s Licensease API technology, Slip.stream is able to properly protect Insomniac’s copyrights on YouTube while allowing creators to safely use the music and monetize their videos. This is the first label partnership for Slip.stream that utilizes this technology, but opens up the opportunity to all of FUGA’s label clients.

Zach Koche, Business Development Director, Americas at FUGA adds Insomniac is a highly innovative partner and by working with them and Slip.stream, FUGA is proud to be actively working towards a more progressive, creator-friendly industry where the process for using our clients’ content is streamlined and simplified.”
