J Balvin Announces Melbourne & Sydney Headline Shows For July

Alongside Splendor In The Grass, J Balvin hit Australia for two huge headlining shows, with performances in Melbourne and Sydney this July 2023.

Balvin is a highly accomplished and internationally renowned artist and entrepreneur, who has achieved multiple accolades across various music award shows, including the Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and Latin GRAMMYs. As a Latinx musician, he has broken through cultural barriers and has garnered a massive following of fans from around the world, making him one of the top 10 most-streamed artists globally. Originally from Medellín, Colombia, Balvin has sold over 35 million records, making him one of the best-selling Latin artists of all time. His 2017 hit song ‘Mi Gente’, featuring Willy William and later remixed with Beyoncé, was a huge success and a testament to cultural pride.

Known for his electrifying and dynamic live performances, Balvin has made a name for himself as a trailblazer in the music industry. In 2019, he made history by becoming the first Latin artist to headline Lollapalooza in its 28-year history. He also made a similar impact at Coachella, where he returned to perform after being invited onstage by Beyoncé the previous year. Billboard hailed his Coachella performance as “the most high-profile set from a reggaeton artist in the festival’s history.”

The barrier-busting Balvin will perform two huge headline shows while in Australia: Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Sunday 23 July, followed by Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Tuesday 25 July. Tickets for both cities go on sale Monday 8 May (10am local time) via frontiertouring.com/jbalvin
