The track encompasses a powerful techno bassline and a hypnotic vocal that instantly puts listeners into a trance. Just as incredible as the song itself, “Tunnel Vision” is joined by a reality-distorting music video. This short film takes its audience on a wild adventure, featuring a seductive dominatrix dancer and a mysterious yet captivating storyline.
Discussing his thoughts on “Tunnel Vision”, Jimmy says, “I found the vocal sample and instantly knew what I had to do with them. The whole process of this song took only two days. I love the feeling when you know from the first moment how it’s supposed to sound. It’s just like a tunnel where you see the light and slowly approach it. That’s how I would describe the process of this song.”
As psychedelic as “Tunnel Vision” is, it’s not the only magnetic project that Jimmy has forged throughout his career. His fusion of techno and and genres like breakbeat, has received support from the likes of A-Trak, Alison Wonderland, Baauer, and more. Planning to follow up “Tunnel Vision” with two upcoming EPs, Jimmy will continue to spread his influential sound design and release thrilling collaborations.
