Successful Platinum Certified Jocelyn Alice Goes Big With Her Release ‘BABY GIRL’ EP

From top to bottom, Jocelyn has components built into her EP Baby Girl that will simply move you. Comprised of seven tracks altogether, the album epitomizes the expression ‘the whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts.’ A couple personal favorite singles of mine were opening track “RAZOR,” and title track “BABY GIRL.”

“RAZOR,” in collaboration with Ria Mae, is all around warm hearted and has an easy beat to follow. The mixture of electronic and real-world instrumentation platforms the experience in easy-going and inviting matter. The vocals top everything off, the juxtaposition between the timbre’s of Ria and Jocelyn being a work of art in itself.

“BABY GIRL,” feels like a title track – that’s for certain. So many influences come together with a innocent, ‘music box,’ style beat to help the experience drift along. The diversity in the vocal work of all the featured artists is a fun ride, high pace moments juxtapose joyously melodic moments. This is one single easy to return to again and again.

Jocelyn Alice is far from her first shot as a proper music release. She’s acclaimed well over 150 million streams to her name, has hit the top 10 on Spotify’s Viral chart, and so much more.

If you like what she does, dive into her Spotify and give her a follow. It will be a decision you won’t regret.
