JOY. Releases Stunning Single “Waterfalls”

JOY. is undoubtedly one of Austalia’s brightest talents. The 22-year-old singer and producer has had an amazing run in recent years, collaborating with fellow Australians Manu Crooks and What So Not, as well as names such as ZHU and GANZ. Her pure talent and versatility resulted in her directly supporting the likes of Tkay Maidza, Kehlani and Demi Lovato on tour, as well as signing a record deal with Sony Music Australia.

Her latest single comes in the form of smooth gem “Watefalls”, which directly follows her previous release “ANIME”. In contrast to the 80s-inspired, synthwave vibe of “ANIME”, “Waterfalls” perfectly incorporates the state of modern pop and R&B, driven by lush atmospheres, catchy guitar samples and subtle trap-inspired drum work. JOY.’s vocals are as stunning as ever, while the various effects and layers added on top of her lead vocals result in a heavenly vocal performance.
