juuku Takes On Porter Robinson’s “Sad Machine” With A Lovely Flip

Mysterious artist juuku has blessed his listeners with yet another flip that is bound to become a classic, taking on Porter Robinson’s 2014 single “Sad Machine”. The producer has emerged out of nowhere over the past year steadily taking over Soundcloud and Spotify with his bright originals and stunning series of flips.

His most recent Porter Robinson flip, paired with a self-animated video, marks one of his most emotional releases yet, and comes from a very personal place. Doing justice to the original, melodies and chords are left fairly untouched, yet are soaked in a blissful atmosphere while the energy builds up. The drop eventually explodes into a series of distorted kicks and snares that go crazy under bright synths and melodies, making up for an impressive sonic result. In a social media statement, juuku opened up about how many things “Sad Machine” meant to him, and how he was hesitant to put his own take on it until recently.
