Keli Holiday Debuts With Feel Good Single ‘We Don’t Have To Know’

Keli Holiday has arrived to kick off 2021 in style – bringing all the positive vibes and good-feels that this year needs. Keli Holiday, the side project of Adam Hyde – one-half of legendary Australian duo Peking Duk – officially launches his debut single ‘We Don’t Have To Know’ today.

Adam Hyde created 12 tracks in just four weeks after an intense North America tour. He then naturally shared them with good friend Thomas Stell (aka Golden Features), Thomas then shared the project with Adams’ long-time idol K.I.M., the solo guise of Kim Moyes from iconic Australian duo The Presets. In the words of Hyde “K.I.M. and I tightened up the dusty recordings and made them shine.”

With half of Peking Duk, Golden Features and half of The Presets, the unusual collaboration will have many excited for the album. If ‘We Don’t Have To Know’ is any indicator of the project’s quality, then the anticipation is only going to grow.

Describing the side-project through his eyes, Hyde says “Keli Holiday is from the mind of a man living off of nothing but new order records, beer, sleepless nights and the sheer excitement and love of exploring an unknown city.”

Hyde continues, “This song is the soundtrack to a Southern Californian kick on. The drums are smacking, the guitar is popping and the sun is shining. I had so much fun writing and recording this song as I had just moved to LA and the energy in the studio that day was right. Every time I press play on it, it takes me to that place – to a fun place. A place we all deserve to be. Long live the holiday.”
