Blvk Sheep Punk-Infused ‘Life Sucks’ A Tease Of Upcoming ‘Dissociated’ EP

Blvk Sheep embraces a pop-punk edge along with with future-tinged beats in “Life Sucks,” the single is a tease of what’s to come off of Blvk Sheep’s upcoming EP he’s calling Dissociated. Featuring the vocal work of Apollo Vega, the verses share a cynical world-view that “life sucks / and then you die,” enhanced by well-suited guitar chords that come into play at just the right moments.

Layered with this is electronic trap percussion, leading to a build up, then a future-bass infused drop that peaks the experience. Emotionally complicated as well as speaking to our human side that seeks to chill out and hang out with friends, when we are forced to do the opposite most of the time, this single counters that fake “always positive” mantra that is constantly pushed in mainstream pop culture.

Richie Buckley, aka Blvk Sheep, has been in the game for several years now, with tracks of his going into the millions of plays such as “Never Give Up,” and “Insanity.” He burst onto the scene after winning the remix contest for NGHTMRE and Boombox Cartel’s “Aftershock.”

The moment lead plenty of opportunity to express his trap-inspired style with mix of emotional future-laced singles and felt-melting bass heavy beats. Today he has more than a handful of songs in his catalog that earn the label of time-testing. Having gained the support of names like Alison Wonderland and Excision, he’s one artist who is here for the long run.
